Condition : BRAND NEW (never displayed). Signed and numbered directly from James Jean, himself. Was a 24hr -limited edition release of giclée prints. Commissioned by Director Guillermo Del Toro, this elaborate image attempts to encapsulate the relationship between Geppetto, Pinocchio and the other characters of the unique film. The "embossed" and raised textures add to the ornate details throughout the print.

Print: 33 1/2" x 20 1/2". Image: 32 11/16" x 19 11/16". Sculptural jewel-like details and enhancements. Signed by James Jean and numbered. Edition size: only 1145 worldwide!!

Let me know if there are any questions. When Guillermo del Toro asked me to make the poster for this film, I was honored and excited to create something that could encapsulate the depth of feeling and labor of love that went into its production.

He told me the film was inspired by his own relationship with his father. His Pinocchio is about what it means to be a good father, a bad father, and live in a world where fathers can learn to love you for who you are. At the heart of the film is the fusion, the dance of creation, between Geppetto and Pinocchio.

I wanted to show Pinocchio stepping out into the world, literally leaping out of the picture frame, and Geppetto having difficulty letting go. The characters are under the protection of the Blue Fairy who looms above, wings outstretched. This item is in the category "Art\Art Prints".
